This shop began in 2007 as a community service project that my brother in law undertook when he was an undergrad. He was inspired by the strength and character of the amazingly loving, charitable woman who was his aunt Mary Jo . She was defeated after a long fight with cancer.

My brother in law made many bracelets and I photographed, described, sold and shipped them to people who wanted to help. We donated the profits to Relay for Life.
After about a year, he passed the shop on to me, and I have been slowly improving the products, expanding the designs, and donating to ever better charities dedicated to cancer research.

Currently, I donate 100% of profits to The Gateway for Cancer Research, who spend 99 cents of every dollar donated on the research itself!

Now, I also dedicate this shop to my father, Bruce, who courageously fought a long hard battle against esophageal cancer, and my mentor, Katrina Morosoff Stout (artist, teacher, mother, strong-willed and opinionated wonder of the natural world who fought valiantly against the ravages of lung cancer).
